It is essential to select a frame featuring high-strength manganese steel main beams-specifically 16mm thick for the upper section and 18mm for the lower section-with a minimum overall thickness of 8mm.
When purchasing, you should request that the manufacturer apply frame reinforcement treatments (such as adding reinforcing plates or performing full-frame heat treatment). Furthermore, it is recommended to limit the payload to within 35 tons to avoid the risks associated with chronic overloading.

Q: How are the logs loaded and unloaded? Is a separate crane required?

A: There are two primary options:
Option 1 (The Mainstream Choice): Equip the rear of the semi-trailer with a hydraulic rotating support/boom arm. This works in conjunction with a ground-based crane (rated at 25 tons or higher) to handle loading and unloading operations, offering the highest level of efficiency.
Option 2: For short-haul shuttle operations, you can install a truck-mounted crane (rated at 8–12 tons) directly onto the vehicle. This enables self-loading and self-unloading capabilities, providing greater operational flexibility.
